Look what I found today. I believe this was aired during Women's History Month (March) 2011. Watch a little (yes, there is a commercial in the begining) and you will see Abiola Abrams feature and talk about my work!

Episode #34 is a two part segment on Women in the Arts. The first segment (originally taped in March 2007) consists of a group show entitled "Hoes, Putas, and Dragon Ladies: Our Sexuality ReMixed" and is a multimedia exhibit featuring performance, visual art and readings for women?s history month. Curated by Abiola Abrams and Sonia Malfa, this exhibit was created as a commentary on the sexual representations of American women of African, Latin and Asian decent. Presented at the Chashama Gallery, featured artists include: Devorah Hill, Urban Envy, Liliana Velasquez, Damali Abrams, Casa Atabex Ache, Bless Da Mic, Ifetayo Abdus-Salam, Nancy Encarnacion, and Jennifer Fuentes. Our second segment (originally taped in December 2010) focuses on the work of Japanese-born artist Toshiko Nishikawa and her exhibit "Senbazuru", held at the Vilcek Foundation, is an interactive installation featuring 1,000 suspended and mirrored orbs and invites viewers to gaze at a world within a world.
